Introduction

Dr. Curtis J. and Mrs. Gina Crawford have long believed that education is a key driver of opportunity, leadership, and long-term success. Over the years, their philanthropy has supported well-resourced institutions with strong infrastructures. While those investments remain meaningful, they recognized an opportunity to extend their commitment to excellence by supporting some historically underfunded Colleges and Universities.

The Crawford Scholars Endowment Fund prioritizes supporting sustainable capacity rather than short-term program relief. Its primary goal is to help institutions, and student scholars, operate on a more equal footing by addressing some immediate needs, strengthening long-term sustainability, and help improve measurable student outcomes. The Fund reflects the belief that talent and leadership exist everywhere, even when opportunity does not.
