The Publishing Collaborative Overview

The XCEO team has developed a unique opportunity for independent publishers to cooperate with each other by instituting a venture we refer to as Collaborative Publishing. As many self publishers have come to find out, having a great book is unfortunately not enough. The distribution, retail chain placement and marketing of independent books are complicated processes due to the small publisher's lack of power and influence. Although the term "team publishing" has existed for many years, our concept of team publishing is distinctive. Thus, Collaborative Publishing, a concept developed exclusively by the XCEO team, is a way to work together, share experiences, expertise and knowledge in order to increase the opportunity for success in each of the afore mentioned areas. At XCEO, Inc., our intent is not to sell services nor are we interested in buying rights to manuscripts like a "publishing house", Rather we see team publishing as a common interest to all parties involved. We intend to collaborate with authors in order to stimulate creative thinking, improve book production and leverage distribution and sales for all our partners.

The XCEO team is actively seeking individuals who have developed a manuscript that includes a fresh, inspiring, well-developed vision or an academic approach to a relevant issue. Ideal candidates include those who are going to self-publish, those who are passionate about sharing ideas with others, those who are willing to dedicate the time and resources necessary to make their book a success, and those who desire to work with an outstanding, experienced team!

The strength of Collaborative Publishing is in the quality of a publisher's library.
