Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and motivated individual to fulfill the roll of Program Director, Public Sector Governance and Board Leadership Development. No experience in sales or non-profits is necessary. XCEO will provide extensive sales and non-profit training. The Public Sector Governance Program Director will be responsible for all activities related to non-profit, enlightened governance boardroom consultancy at XCEO, Inc. This person leads the program from project initiation through delivery, interfacing with non-profit, foundations and universities on matters regarding the CEO's book Compliance & Conviction: The Evolution of Enlightened Corporate Governance. This position reports directly to the CEO, works very closely with the Program Director, Corporate Governance & Board Leadership Development and Program Manager, Professional Mentoring & Personal Leadership Development.

The Program Director will assist in multiple projects and be a partner in overseeing others. This person will be required to successfully develop marketing materials, discover and pursue new markets and aid in the presentation and sales of products to all not-for-profit organizations. This candidate will also be responsible for maintaining partnerships, new business relationships and for helping attain customers. The Program Director will be responsible for new projects to be built on an excellent strategy, completed on-time and within the project's predetermined budget. This candidate must be a team player and capable of closing business.

The Program Director should expect to be trained in the area of non-profit/university governance, leadership, sales and marketing. Experience in sales, marketing and management is an advantage, but is not a requirement for employment.

Requirements

  • Experience in a related field (consulting, marketing, publishing, etc.)
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Define project and program scope, deliverables, and goals that support overall business objectives in collaboration with the executive leadership team, individual project team members and key stakeholders
  • Develop inclusive project plans and associated communications documents
  • Develop and help deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential problems, and devise contingency plans
  • Aid in development of next generation product launch and help manage the market plans
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to shift priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision and in a small-office environment

Job Description:

We are looking for an ambitious, highly motivated and creative, sales executive to help us with our current marketing and sales efforts. We are seeking a candidate with great communication and writing skills. This person should be self-motivated but also work well in a team environment. We would like to find a candidate with previous sales and business experience.

The Program Director, Board Productivity Services is a full time management level position. It will report directly to the President and CEO of the company.

The products and services to be sold are a subset of the XCEO Enlightened Governance Board Performance Evaluation Programs for public and nonprofit directors and boards to meet their required Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) obligations. There are over 25 unique evaluations available to XCEO's board clients and they are all completely web-based, and securely processed and stored.

All exercises include a comprehensive set of reports that are individually packaged within XCEO's presentation template. The reports provide each board a thoroughly analyzed, tailored and detailed presentation of its exercise results. XCEO's automatically generated reports provide up-to-date industry data, benchmarking, statistical analysis and commentary for each evaluation/assessment. For the benefit of XCEO's clients, the Productivity Services option provides an effective and economical way to meet their responsibilities.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • High volume cold calling
  • Consultative selling
  • Market development
  • Basic market research
  • Developing new sales and marketing leads
  • Developing content for client presentations and follow-up
  • Communicating directly with client corporate officers and directors

Qualifications:

We are continuously looking for talented, high-aspiration individuals to join the XCEO team. We are a small company where the contributions of each individual make a significant difference. We are seeking individuals who are self-motivated and eager to work in a fast-paced environment, learn to balance a number of tasks simultaneously and have the professionalism to properly represent XCEO.

We are seeking a motivated individual to sell our sophisticated products and services to corporate and non-profit organizations. Our clients, and prospects, are boards of directors. Experience interacting with C-Level executives is required.

Qualified candidates will desire to work in a small-business environment with limited supervision. We are looking for an individual with business experience and an earned degree from a regionally accredited college or university.

This is a new sales position within XCEO. It is a highly commissioned sales position with a short sell cycle and significant earning potential.
